A meet cute near Yosemite

The story actually begins inland in a town near Yosemite that he was staying in after visiting and getting lost up in Yosemite. We met at a cafe by chance, this Cali girl and the Kiwi.

There was a freak monsoon downpour the night we met. I could barely see the road through my window while driving to the cafe. There was a thunder and lighting storm as well. The night was full of strange electricity.

We met at a patio cafe. The straight male bartender appeared to be very taken with this kiwi and shamelessly flirting. They were talking about New ZeaIand and the sheep there. I don’ think I had ever witnessed first hand a straight man flirting with another straight man. I was a little embarrassed for the bartender.
